Committees

The Okeechobee County Board of County Commissioners recognizes the importance of volunteerism in efficient and progressive county government. The Board of County Commissioners appoints Okeechobee County residents to serve as volunteers on various boards, commissions, committees, and councils. Board members should have an interest or experience in the area of service desired and the necessary expertise to accomplish the goals and objectives of that board. Some of the boards require financial disclosure, and if selected, the appointee would be required by Section 112.3145, Florida Statues, to file a financial disclosure form with the Supervisor of Elections, within 30 days of appointment.
